Today was another long day at the hospital. My wife had a bronchoscopy where they did a lung biopsy and some other stuff. I find myself with as many questions as I had on Saturday, maybe more. We are hopeful she can come home tomorrow and will have a lot of Dr’s visits coming up. I’m not sure we even have a diagnosis(es) yet only symptoms. Here’s some things I do know though:
-my family is great, my in-laws are awesome! Aunt Cheryl you ROCK!!
-our church family is the bomb with all the well wishers, and Anne Johnson is the “bomb-jiggity”, she made Gail’s day coming by with the beautiful flowers (Aunt Cheryl also brought some beautiful flowers). I can feel a sneeze welling up as we speak.
-the new magnificent, bodacious state of the art Homestead Hospital is top notch, we should really be proud of that achievement right here in our neighborhood. We of course have not seen the bill yet, check with me later but as of now we’re gee-whizzed by the joint.
-get ready world for the new Finch’s 2.0, this time next year we will be svelt! (physically and financially) there are some big changes and challanges coming up on the horizon that will require a lot of work.
-as I sit right here today I’m not sure I’m ready for the future (paradoxically speaking), this experience has been a real shot across the bow for us as a family.

Will be praying for her to be sent home soon and very healthy so there will be no more Dr. trips.

Thanks Ela, Gail told me you were a sense of inspiration for her. She’s home.

Billy please tell Gail that if there is anything I can help her with to give me a call. I’m very happy that she is at home. Don’t loose the faith, HE will put things in place as HE always does.
Much love and many blessings,
Ela
